Doubles are fun and trying. I love doubles and agree if I only shoot 2 events it would be doubles and Continental ( wobble trap). Continental you get 2 shots at the target. Enjoy it. Shoot straight.

Everyone always told me doubles was the most fun of all the trap events.
To me, it always seemed like a chore.
And it cost twice as much for a round.

Then one day on the last round of doubles, in the last event of the last shoot of the year, it clicked.
I figured it out.
When you go "boom, boom" and end up with two smoke clouds, and it happens a few times in a row, it's is a riot.
Now, I'm still no good at it (solid d class) but my average is climbing every shoot, and I am having a lot of fun with it.

I have used the double barrel on my Kolar 3 times. High of 70. Had no idea where I was shooting at.

If you really want to have fun with doubles, try them on a wobble trap. Oscillating wobble doubles are a hoot. Also good practice for wind and other adverse conditions.
