Burl walnut.

It’s walnut burl from a rootball. It will be checkered later.
Something kept nagging at me while viewing the pictures of the beautiful stock shown by andy. Something just didn't look right, you have an eye for that kind of thing after working with photos for the govern......errrrr....photo journalist magazines.

I ran the photo through the Bi-Star 7000 Photo Peeler and was astonished at what I saw.

If I am not mistaken, the original untouched photo shows what appears to be trons cat.

No wonder the stock came out so well!

Absolutely stunning work of art and without question a showstopper at any shoot for sure!!! She will/should be very proud to shoot and own that and have someone capable to such work.

Are you hoping she loses interest soon it it can become yours?

It looks great!
Well yeah!!!! You KNOW he has to do a safety check and inspection of at least 500rnds before letting her have it. Dont want the little lady getting hurt do we now!!!
