HELLO:
a few months ago i purchased a remington 870 tb. i started flinching big time. i ended up getting a release trigger and that solved the problem. i did not give the release trigger enough time to get use to it, but i just did not like releasing a trigger. one day, i measured the distance from my pistol gripp to the trigger on my bps trap gun, and the rem 870. the 870 distance was longer than the bps. when shooting the bps i would flinch maybe 1 time in 500 targets. with the 870 i was flinching 12 to 15 times per every 25 targets. i built an extension for the 870 with velcro and covered it with black tape, to make the distance from the pistol gripp to the trigger less. it really felt good, instead of pulling the trigger with the tip of my finger, i now pull the trigger with the first didgit of my shooting finger. i have now gone over 2,000 targets without a flinch. if anyone is having a flinching problem, possibly consider the samething that i did. down the line, who knows, what will happen? but for now i am starting to shoot respectable scores again, and hopefully i can finally get off the 20 yard line this year.
