He would probably fill the barrel with water and then use his mathification to tell you how many.

Around 5000. I used to have a barrel full of pressure-tested STS hulls. They had a small indent just above the base. Finally got tired of moving things around that barrel (I stopped reloading in 1978) so gave it to the Rockingham Gun Club when I moved from NC to TX.

Since he said "hulls", and he tends to be a pretty straight shooter, (pun intended) it's a safe assmuption he meant hulls.
