I need some help to post a picture from my I Phone- thanks in advance
Assuming you have an iPhone.
In the last step, put the cursor where you want the whole photo to appear. If you just want a thumbnail, click the thumbnail. I prefer full in-line photo.
On your iPhone are you reading ts.com?
If so, on the thread you want to post a picture click the > upload a file < button, click the > choose file < button on the pop up panel. Select > photo library < on the next pop up. Browse to the picture you want to post. Select it. Click > done < at the top of the page. After the picture uploads select > full image < ( or delete if you got the wrong one. Then click > post reply <
Thanks all- I figured it out!!
Remember when “posting a picture” just needed a thumb tack or a ‘fridge magnet??
what's that mean??
that was a tongue in cheek joke Phil.
I’m so sorry I jumped into a history lesson w/o providing any context or visuals.
Back in ye olden days, in order to produce a displayable image, you sent an acetate known as film out to be processed into a picture. Once that was in hand, you had several options as to admire your creation. Several popular ways came into being... binding into albums, framing. Around the home and office (we’ll get into what an office is/was later) in order to have that image always available, people resorted to thumb tacks (1st visual) and magnets (2nd image) to hold their photo in a place of high regard.
Entering into the digital age, posting a picture is now a function of transferring files (.jpeg, .img, etc.) onto a website for all to see. One note of caution, once something is posted on “this inter web thingy” it never is really totally gone, so use a little caution.
I hope this helps!
Ken- DUH! I feel like a dummy for not catching on.
