Set the bottom adjustment so that the shell clears the primer on roration, set the top adjustment to get the correct depth.

The top adjustment will change if you change the brand of shells you are using,

Reiffenhaussen shells vary a lot depending on the thickness of the base wad

It is really a good Idea to stick with the same hulls if you can

Get the spring loaded primer ram and you can load any brand of shell you choose without having to make adjustments to the primer ram when you switch. Best add on to the 366 loader since the swing out wad guide and automatic index.

The spring primer ram is the only way to go. It gives you very consistent primer seating.

Just to let you know,I contacted Hornady yesterday,they are out of the spring loaded seaters and there will not be another run of them for at least 150 days or more. Going to keep my old Mec!!
