Interested in a durable home trap machine that will oscillate and also be set to throw throw true trap doubles. Prefer one that can be towed behind an ATV. Recommendations please?

Thanks,

Don’t think it exist. There are machines that will oscillate, but throwing none throw doubles. All machines that will throw doubles are permanent mounted machines.

Get two V1574 Western Skeet machines and the three button pull cord. Mount these two traps on a small trailer, adjust speed flight and height as per good doubles, maybe use a radar gun. Place in front of a few hay bales and shoot for fun!

If you are willing to have a dedicated trailer, just use two oscillating machines, mounted on the trailer with a two button cord, or one button that activates both traps.

MEC makes a doubles machine, but it's nearly as big as a PAT.
Do you happen to know if there’s a link that shows that particular machine? I didn’t have much luck with their Website. Not much definitive info from Target Shotguns.

Thank you.

Western White Flyer trap machines are a great recommendation, only if you are mechanically inclined.
There are many surplus machines out there, and sometimes they are almost free. They were the gold standard machine, so many clubs have a few in storage.
They are near bulletproof when rebuilt, but they are many years out of production.
Parts are readily available, as are aftermarket carousels/loaders from Western Retro.

Just go to the MEC website and it will direct you to reloaders or trap machines. The MEC machine is $7000 new. Not cheap. Might as well buy a used or refurbished PAT.
