What's the deal with this shell? The one ounce shell only has a velocity of 1060 while the 1 1/8 is 1050. Whats the difference from normal 7 1/2 shot?

They are a low recoil 1 oz load. 1 oz loads can be loaded at whatever speed the manufacturer desires and thinks they can sell. If you look a little further down the list at Cabelas you will see a Herters 1290 fps 1 oz load. Some of the Sporting Clays 1 oz loads are over 1300 fps.

Some of us don't think high speed, and the recoil associated with high speed, is either necessary or desired.

These should break 16 yard singles and the first shot of doubles with no problems.

I have shot two cases of the 1050 fps 1 1/8 oz 7.5 LR loads. No problems at 16 yds. Even got a couple of 25's with them. Now bought the 1060 fps 1 oz loads.

I ordered 10 cases of 1060 fps loads from Cabela's yesterday. I've never shot them but hope/expect they will be fine
for 16 yard shooting.

Any other shoot reports on the 1oz LR shell? The AA 26gr ultralight can be inconsistent or hollow sounding.
First hand report of users of this she'll us appreciated.

I shoot them constantly for caps from 25 yds. Full choke. Clean breaks. Dependable. Love em.
