Ok guys, had a member at the club who had an accident and dented his Perazzi barrel on the concrete today.

It’s an 18.6 barrel with Briley S-2 thin walls.

Anyone have any suggestions on if this can be repaired? Does anyone Swedge out dents from the inside?

I told him that Briley may be able to fix it for him.

Any help is appreciated!

Mac, being that it is in the choke area, have him bite the bullet and have Briley fix it and check ALL his chokes for proper fit. Good shooting, Rey

My shotgun fell over yesterday. My fault, nobody to bitch at. It put a small dent in the barrel. Any simple way to fix? I watched larry whats his face at midway make a fancy tool, but,, What is the typical charge for dent fixing at gunsmith?

Most gun smiths have a dent removal tool. I believe that Brownells sells them also.

I bought a TM9X that had a very small ding in it. Said to have happened
in shipping. I have shot it about 10,000 times and I looked the other day
and I could not find it. It must have been shot out.

X2, Friend of mined dented the end of his barrels much worse that yours, like Rey posted, I also recommended Briley, when they were returned the barrels, he couldn't even find where it was dented.

Dean Harris at Skeets Gun Shop in OK. The most important aspect of dent repair in shotgun barrels is what’s done on the inside. You need someone that is a master at that aspect of the repair.
