I have a Browning BT-99 mfg. 1984 34" barrel...

Today while shooting some Trap it would not eject any spent shells...

It does have ejectors not just extractors and it did eject maybe 3 out of 75 shells today...

It wont even "lift" a spent shell like an extractor & I had to use my fingernail each time to remove the shell...

Any ideas guys?

Thanks for your time in advance,

Chris

Take the barrel off and check the ejector extension; this is the sliding piece in front of the actual ejector. Trip rod also a possibility. The ejector extension really takes a beating and will probably be the 1st thing that breaks. BT100dc

Thanks guys...

I cleaned it ... Actually thought I cleaned it well but upon checking the tip of the extractor where it comes out of "left" side of receiver it was gummed up with pivot grease...

Also it was cold out this morning possibly making it a bit more stubborn !

Its flying my snap caps across the room now ...

Thanks for your help, you were all correct,

Chris
