I'm trying to order new cocking rods from Brownell's for my Beretta S682X but they list almost a dozen different 'Series numbers' for these rods. I have no idea what series mine is and a very careful inspection with a glass shows no such numbers anywhere! I bought it used so no papers, etc.
Is there a feature, etc. on the gun that will identify it? Serial number range is E51000B
Any help appreciated,

I'll second Curt's advice but I also didn't know there that many variations of that particular part. What ever the case is, you will get excellent service from Cole's, very fast and reasonable prices.
