I am trying to determine the value of three guns .
* Colt Official Police 4" barrel wood grips 90% metal and bore 85% to 90% 38 special.

* Savage SxS 12ga 28" barrel field gun 70 %

* JC Higgins same as the Savage .
Thank You for your help,

Ballpark, Colt $500 and up, Savage, $450, JC, a little less. Prices are crazy now and Gunbroker is crap, Blue Book pretty good but nothing is stable. I'm turning down appraisals as I don't need the guff when I accurately price something and then get femaledogged at when they come back and say, "I just saw it at $ on xxxxxx"

Offical Police
The 2 in. barrel in .38 Spl. cal. is scarce. .22 LR cal. was available with 4 or 6 in. barrel only.

Add 25% for nickel finish.
Add 100% for .22 LR cal.

The only Savage I found is a 550
