If you check the Hodgdon reloading data, (see link above), you start to push the pressure over 11,000 when you start to push the velocity to 1250 with 700X.

I shoot lots of Sporting Clays, I am a fan of 1250 fps loads. I am also using 7/8 oz. of 7 1/2 shot , using Tightwad powder, Rem primer, TGT 12 wad. I still struggle with 60 yard edge targets.
