Help on Porting

Got my new gun today. The porting looks like a coma or quotation mark on its side. Can someone tell me who did it. It is a single row. Thanks Tom

Second that...very good porting too. Quiet as it can be and does not seem to blow junk up under the rib like some others.

No matter what shape and however many holes...it's still porting and useless, not to mention it devalues the gun INHO....
