I recently purchased this Perazzi stock on ts. Unfortunately ,I guess I didnt ask enough of the right questions. It was advertised as an MX 8 stock with type 4 forearm. I was told it came off an older MX 8. Both pieces were inexpensive. It does not mate up to the metal on my MX 8 . Appears to have come off a rounded receiver gun. Can anyone tell me what they think this is from , so that I can move it to someone who can use it ? If you have a use for the stock pm me . Thanks for any insight/info provided.

Agreed - looks to be MX 3. Can be made to fit later model MX 8 but metal will be a bit proud on bottom. Inletting required for different top lever lock release.

I go with the MX 3. I fitted one to an MX 8 but grip never fit correctly. If it came off an older MX 3, the forearm may not be a Type 4. Being a non Monte Carlo, it may not be a trap stock either. Best get a refund if possible.

If the Buttpad is original, which it looks like it probably is and if the forend has fingergrooves it could well be off an MX3 special. Does the forend have the recessed area for the small nuts?

Yes there are recesses for the small nuts. Stock and forearm listed for sale $300 shipped. I am trying to help the original seller out of an awkward situation. Thanks again for the info.
