Heads-up: Birchwood-Casey “Save It” Shell Catcher
Like many of you, I use one of these on several of my semi-auto guns where the snap-on types won’t fit.
Last night I went online to get another one, only to find that the right-handed ones are generally not available. I checked Amazon, MidwayUSA, Brownell’s, eBay, etc. Even the Birchwood-Casey website listed these as “out of stock.” There were some left-handed ones available here & there, but no right-handed ones. Some of the sites I looked at indicated that these have been discontinued. I was pretty surprised.
Luckily, I did find a Carlson one that pretty much looks identical & ordered one.
If you turn up one or two, now might be a good time to grab one - as they may soon become another unavailable thing of the past?
