Has anyone used the wadlock barrel from Hastings? I was thinking of purchasing one in the 34" model for my 1100. I was wondering if the concept of them was actually true.

Thanks,
Forrest

You will have the longest gun in the rack. It's a little tough to swing on the hard angles from 1 & 5. HMB

I've got a "Leo Harrison Signature" 1100 barrel (non-wadlock) made, I was told, by Hastings, and agree with everyone that it's a fine, really tight shooter. Right up there with an 870 Competition for "full choke" and that's saying something!

Skip is correct. The Hastings 1100 trap barrel is great shooting barrel. I only have approximately 150 rounds out of mine but like Skip says it is a target eating son of gun.

Ask Ed Clapper. He’ll easily verify the above.

I've been putting straight-rifling in shotgun barrels for five years, mostly for card shooters and it works,a lot of barrels I shot before and after, nearly all shot a tighter pattern and POI was more consistent.
