New winter projects...

I have bought 2 old guns that are out of commision and need help. Any information provided is greatly appreciated. Thanks

1. H S B & Co 12 gauge side by side. Stock needed. Is there anywhere to buy one or could I fit a replacement? what would fit easiest? Also I have not chambered any rounds into the gun but when the triggers are squeezed the hammers do not fully reach the firing pin locations. I will figure this out tonight as I am going to load some dummy rounds (no live primers)

2. Stevens 22 pump. Complete but when the rifle is pumped the trigger needs to be pushed up to fire and the entire mag tube slides with the forearm. I feel like there is something missing that is supposed to pull the firing pin forward as the forearm is pulled forward.

Again any info is appreciated.

Sterling Arms Co., Victor and Victor Special were all tradename guns for Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett & Co., Chicago. Most were made by Crescent.
In 1962 Cotter & Company purchased the assets of H.S.B.&Co. acquiring the True Value trademark.

A loooooong list of Folsom/Crescent tradename guns is on the link and junkers frequently appear on the auction sites from which you may be able to harvest the needed parts. They were not of high quality when new, and I would strongly advise the assistance of a double gun specialist smith before firing the gun.

Just what I am looking for. After cleaning as best I could the Bores are in good condition and triggers seem to work just fine. I will see how much I want to put into it.
