I have a couple older Remington 1100 fixed full trap barrels that I am considering having threaded for choke tubes. Looking for top notch gunsmith recommendations to do this and/or feedback from some who may have done this with an 1100 barrel. Thanks!

I have had many done by Carlson's, and always was a good job.

Yer right! They are pretty solid. I have 5 of’em so I’m not afraid to experiment with one.

Briley if you want the top of the line chokes as well but you pay the price. Mike Orleans if you want good work but will probably be getting tru choke size threads.

I have had several different guns done by Carlson. Very reasonable cost, quick turn around and quality work. Never a problem or complaint.

I have had several done by Mike Orlene and they came out great. Very reasonably priced, excellent workmanship and fast turn around. I've always had them back in my hands in less than 2 weeks.
