One of our shooters from Cedar Rapids died recently, and it was his request that his guns be auctioned off.

The auction house he chose was the Cady Auction Gallery.

I know them and I told them I would put some pictures up as there are a lot of guns and a lot of really nice trap guns.

I have seen most of these shotguns in person, and they are in A-1 shape. Most of these guns also had both a pull trigger and a release trigger with them.

That sort of surprised me at first, but after seeing what a fine collection this is, it is the way the owner bought did things.

The auction for these guns is Saturday, April 27th. You can sign up and bid on line for these fine guns or just show up to bid on them.

I do not know what there procedure is, but I'm sure they don't just sell these guns to anyone. I'm sure you have to have a license of some kind.

The top trap gun looks to be set up for a left hander. Do you know if the owner was left handed or if the stocks are?

Primed, as a matter of fact, he was a left handed shoot.

But not all of the stocks are left handed.

Someone thought the Seitz was a left hand stock, but it was a right hand stock configured for a left handed shooter.

Kiv-c, I wasn't sure. I only copied it how the Gallery owners had it spelled. Sorry.

Second gun is a Beretta 303 Special Trap.

Bruce, I'd like to get those figures on that Beretta gun, but you can do it yourself by calling Cady Auction Gallery in Cedar Rapids, Ia.

The website is listed in my first post and I'm sure there is a telephone number listed also. Call them and ask for Mike or Debbie, I'm more than sure they will get the answers that want.

I do know it is a 12 gauge, and I'd venture the barrel is 30", but as for the length of pull, I have no idea.

Pat, I did ask about the 15% thing for the internet buyers and they said it is because they have to pay the company that provides the secure internet feed.

I don't know all of the particulars, but it makes sense.
