He claims to have a home town in MT. It would be interesting to hear which gun club it is. Maybe even see a pic or two . That way we can hear from other members of this club who are on this forum.

I would think the repeated sound of a number of 12 gauge guns being shot would announce club activity more than a flag.

One of our clubs that was outside of town for decades, and then people built homes right across the street. There has never been interactions about our flag. All the interactions have been noise complaints. The fools build homes across the street from a gun club and then are surprised when they hear gun shots. Same thing happened with US-30 Dragstrip. People built homes next to a race track and were surprised to hear race cars every weekend. The lack of wisdom in this country is disheartening.

My club, Prescott Trap and Skeet, has been open since late April and the American Flag is proudly displayed when ever we are open. Non members were not allowed until just now and such "problems" as imagined never came up.

Let's see... "a long-time sporting clays shooter who enjoys seeing what other clay target disciplines are doing"...who is a "long time lurker" finally decides to post something, and it's about a refusal to raise a flag at an unknown gun club.

    Yeah, that seems about right.

I’m goin’ with the Lit on this one... but... but Commieformia, WELLLL maybe.

I can tell you where this WON’T be an issue at:
    Pine Belt Sportsman’s Club
    377 Stokes Road
    Shamong, NJ
I’m running it on Monday, and the flag will be up. (I’m not sure if the small flags that normally adorn our frontage are out)
Problems with that?? See me. I won’t be hard to find. Notice I DID post the name of the club??

    He is full of it
How many trap shooters do you know. Most are vets and respect this country.
He has had enough of his 30 seconds of fame on this forum.
His next post will be another . We in California right for our rights to shoot in all forms.
Our state shooting org. CGSTA I am certain would thing this is just another slap in the face of all the devoted shooters here.
The Kern county gun club is open. There is a Clays tournament next weekend. The skeet and 5 stand are also.

Pretty simple, if you don't want to be open to new members then vote for THAT and quit pretending you are. Let the members in and keep the public out.
