HHMM!! For your generosity,, may your clay turn to stone and your chili burn your exhaust pipe!! A magical spell has been cast in your direction for divulging "the secrets" of the feathered seekers!
D. Endicott, we have lots of clay quail here in AZ, hardly any with feathers though. Besides, the deserts are a tough place to get around in! All the vegetation and most of the critters here will poke or bite indiscriminately (they don't care who either) and it hurts like the dickens!!!! Just trying to save you some real pain and agony guy!
I have been told there are a few great Quail spots down near and around the Casa Grande area ... I have not hunted down there but have feasted on a few of the Quail that were shot down there from friends who have ... WPT ... (YAC) ...
You talk about Casa Grande, if you're in the area they have a great all Native (Indian) rodeo there usually around the 2n'd week-end in February. I don't know this years dates. All amateurs, great fry bread and cold beer, you can't beat it. It sometimes is the same week-end as the Spring Grand, not a long distance apart, maybe 1/2 to 3/4 of an hour. Have fun, Bob
