Always good to talk to a person when doing a deal, large or small. A person can tell a lot by the way the guy talks. Sure,a guy can verbally scam also, but you will pick that up if you are careful. I ALWAYS send the $$$ & FFL by certified mail to have a good record & involve the P.O.

GunsAmerica is getting worked over by scammers.

I was sent a $3000 check for a 357 revolver! Lucky me. Oh, they wanted their change back. LOL

If you have the slightest qualms get it shipped from an FFL holder. And get a copy of the license before, and check it on the ATF site.

Get the serial number of the gun if it's a high dollar item.

Pay with a Postal Money order, mail fraud is serious and authorities will pursue.

Usually just a little shake of the tree gets the scammers to go off looking for another pigeon.
