Hi, my name is Lizzy Worthington and I live in Brooklyn, Iowa. My team the BGM Shotgunners was having to travel 35 miles to a range to practice and we were only getting range time once a week, so I decided to build a range close by as my Girl Scout Gold Award Project.

I've been working on it for over a year and the range should open this Spring. If you are considering building your own range maybe you would like to know the steps I took. I post on Facebook at Bear Creek Range and my web site is bearcreekrange.org.

Hmmm.......Brooklyn, Iowa. Way to go!

Years ago I shot with a dedicated trapshooter from Brooklyn, Ia. His name was Max Ringler. One heck of a guy. He'd be mighty proud of you for building this range. Good Luck to you!
