Here are a few pictures of a 870 Project that was done for a Lady shooter at our local club. The add on rib was made by McKnight Gunsmithing(SouthJordan UT.)/Adjustable Comb/Gracoil Recoil Reducer/Custom Finish/ Kind of a fun 870 project with some mods. to make it a better shooter for her :)

Great project!! Looks like some of the 870 / Frankenstien projects that I come up with. 870's are great guns, esp. older ones.

I think the 870 has been turned into a "project" gun more often than any other trap gun on the market. The older ones are nail tuff, simple, and strong.

There woman who the gun belongs to likes to shoot a lot and really likes pump guns more than anything else really wanted something different but usable on the trap range. We worked with McKnights Gunsmithing on some ideas to put on her 879 that would benefit her so really the rib and adjustable comb was where we started and from that point the gracoil came on and ended up with something that should work quite well for the long term especially because she like pump shotgun so much.

Dang, does that 870 have a 3 & 1/2 inch Chamber? You gotta' be SERIOUS about "Games" to shoot that stuff in Annies or Protection--LOL! And the Finish--Cerakote? Duracoat? Something else?

Mikey it is a Cerakote finish :) It should be a fun day tomorrow as she has waited awhile for the project to get done but it will be well worth the wait as everything she wanted and more is there and Im sure the round count will escalate in no time at all ! It is the Super Mag. receiver to so 3.5 :)
