Why must you index manually? Cory Because it does not have automatic indexing.

Those of you thinking of the hydraulic loader. I have been using the manual 9000 for a long time. I bought one like this used a few months ago. The manual progressive is a little slower than the 9000 manual - not much slower - but the end of a loading session feels great from the hydraulic unit. They are really nice units and very inexpensive compared to some other brands.

I rotate the shell holder, remove the finished one, add the new hull, add the wad and I am reaching for another empty shell and new wad while my foot hits the hydraulic lever.

Go for this if you are tired of pulling the Mec handle. I will bet you can get your money back if you do not like it.

I do not know Papcharlie. Just my opinion on the unit.
