Regards the questions about fit, I believe there is only the old long tang and the short tang. This is the short tang. I used it on a "Sporting Hunter" model Citori as a replacement stock and it fit fine. I don't know what model Citori this stock came off originally as I bought it used myself from TS.com, but it is a short tang.
