This is just a suggestion, but the above link is the "AR10 equipment exchange" section of AR15.com. It is a good place to get a "nibble". There are always a few AR10s on there. The site is real easy to join and has no charge for posting an ad. Good luck.

Actually new ones available for $1,349 on Gunbroker so he will have to lower his sights.
