I am considering a new shotgun for duck hunting next season and have noted that the Franchi I-12 is owned by Benelli and has the same operating system as other Benellis. There has also been a lot of recent buzz about the relatively new Benelli Vinci. There is about a $500 dollar price difference between the guns and I am wondering if anyone has an opinion as to relative value. -- I apologize about the somewhat off-topic question but when the weather improves a bit maybe we can get more focused on trap shooting.

I have one that I bought new for my grandson to shoot sporting clays. It shoots and handles very well, and unlike the Benelli Black Eagle that I used to have, it does not jam. Recoil is soft. Unfortunately, he shows very little interest so this gun may soon be for sale. Bill
