Joe, We are making progress toward our planed expansion. Drawings are done and approved. The current holdup is bank loan approval but it's coming. I think you will be impressed with our conceptual layout. IDPA and the pistol guys are going to get a huge increase in funding and a new layout. IDPA is a very big money maker for Flagler and has low cost. 3D archery will occupy the old 40 acre sporting coarse. Sporting clays is moving to newly purchased land north of the trap range and will shot south. Lead shot fall zone will now be centered between skeet, trap and sportin clays. Jay and Dan Wilcox (our engineer)get the credit for making this happen. I don't think we could have accomplished this without Jay Bagelman our club president. Jack

A good move in regard to sporting clays.

I concur about Jay. He's also the clubs cheerleader...

The club is always making improvements and I'm not surprised. The trap side of the club had good sense a few years back to put in fill and elevate the land where the new trap fields were installed to take care of water problems when it rained.

For anyone reading this, the club is a 40 minute drive from Daytona Beach and a 45 minute drive from St. Augustine. Walked in as a visitor several years ago and never regretted it.

They also give fantastic support to 4H youth shooting programs.

Shot at Flagler yesterday, working on my two eyed shooting game. Picked up my Infinity and did way better than I expected,

The only draw back was the back ground. Couldn't stop telling myself--"what beautiful targets, what beautiful targets, damn I can see all the edges on the dome, the writing, what beautiful targets !!!!
