We had such a good time at Lone Mountain Ranch, a guest ranch in Galatin Nat'l Park, Big Sky, MT. Great accomodations, service, food, fly fishing, hiking, horseback riding, etc. We are finding it hard not to return. What is the best vacation you have ever had and where was it? What did you like about it? We are trying to plan another memorable vacation at a different location.

Stetson's Resort on the White River in Arkansas is really nice and peaceful. The trout fishing is excellent. Not much else to do but chill out, relax and do a little fly fishing.

Check out Durango Mountain Resort (Rt. 550 approx. 25 north of Durango, CO) in the summer or late summer; off season rates and the surrounding San Juan Mountains are beautiful. Plenty of side trips such as Mesa Verde National Park, Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad, Ouray, Telluride, Dallas Divide, Cortez, and others. This was once named Purgatory (being there is just short of heaven). Darrell

There is a family style resort called "Lake of The Woods" in Pinetop-Lakeside in Nothern Arizona (High country-cooler climate) that is outstanding for a mini vacation or a month depending on your situation ... They have a dozen different style cabins (all different sizes) and a private lake chocked full of good eating fish ... The rates are very resonable for the accomidations and casinos are not far away for your entertainment and or a night on the town ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

Our family of 5 had a great two weeks last year on the big Island of Hawaii. It has several types of climates all on one Island and tons to see and do. We did submarines, planes, hiking, snorkling, fishing, geocaching, shopping, swimming, caving, attended a Rubber Ducky race, went to a rodeo, sloshed through a rain forest and saw the volcano erupt while we were there. The day we left it had its largest spew in several years. Our trip was very very nifty and the kids loved it.
