Hi,
As I have previously posted, I replaced the PFS I had used for many years with a stock built for me br Manuel Ricardo (www.manuelricardo.pt). As a well fitted stock, the recoil I was experiencing was minor, but was more than I experienced with the PFS. In particular, I was having trouble with the second shot on doubles.
in response to this, I decided to try a Falcon Strike pad.
I have found that the combination of the custom stock and Falcon Strike to be as soft as the PFS.
The Falcon Strike is a little thicker than my original pad, maybe 3/8ths, but so fat that has not been an issue.
I shot a Big 50 Saturday, breaking 50 in the singles, was second in the caps, and was pleased with my doubles. Most notably, I has no trouble keeping my head down for the second shot.
Strong recommendation!
