They'll generally open up in April or May depending on the weather, and stay open through August. Remember it's Fairbanks Alaska, so most of the winter it's just too darn cold to shoot. Search for them on Facebook you can find out more information.

If you are looking for clubs in Alaska that shoot through the winter Birchwood just north of Anchorage throws ATA targets most months, and the Juneau gun club throws PITA targets twice a month (150 multiplex and a 300 registered)

Fairbanks was one of the shooting stops on our "Great Alaskan Trapshooting Adventure" (1999) in route to the Alaska State Shoot at Birchwood from SEAZ. We had to stop shooting as grazing moose declined to let us play through! A great stop on a fun trip!
We stopped for a drink at Skinny Dicks Halfway Inn on our way south......

Lived in Eagle River for years....was Alaska president for a few years. Understand the state shoot is but a shadow of what it was in 2005 -2010, but still fun. we used to have steak feeds and raffle guns off - we gave out custom combo americases for HOA, each class.

If you're so inclined and up there long enough, the state skeet shoot will be in there too.
