For Sale-Winchester Model 21. 12 ga Trap. 30" barrels. Vent rib barrel. Very clean, original model 21. Nice, bright blueing. LOP over the wood is 12 7/8". LOP over the recoil pad is 14 1/4" Barrel chokes right is .013 and left is .035 Length of the barrel is 30". Vent rib. Finish on the wood: forend is original. Stock is original except comb. Looks to be trimmed. I bought it this way years ago. Worked great for me. Drop at the comb is 1 3/8" Drop at the heel is 1 5/8" There are no dents or defects in the barrels. Blueing is bright. Barrels look great. Receiver blueing is great, except on bottom, which shows some wear. Asking $5,200 plus shipping & handling. Shipping to FFL required. Thank you, K & C.

How can it be listed as "original" if the stock appears to have been shortened, it has a new recoil pad, if the comb has been shaved and apparentely the right barrel has been opened to 13/1000" -- the fact that you haven't made any modifications (although the pad looks new)does't qualify it as "original". Might be nice to see some pics of the vent rib as they are notorious for getting dented and of the muzzles to see if the right barrel has a thinner thinkness than the left.

First 21 I've seen that has a sand blasted top lever and top frame by the lever. Is that suppose to be original?

The "sandblasted" area you are referring to was done by Winchester on most vent rib or target guns. Although Ned Schwing author of Winchesters Finest says "its wise to avoid the use of definitive words and phrases such as always, never,the only one in existence and other that generally lead to misunderstandings" This is what makes the collecting of these guns so exciting.
