For Sale: Perazzi MX3 Special with high rib DB-81 top single barrel.

Receiver, stock, and forearm are MX3 Special with S/N's matching. Stock has a 4 way adjustable comb and a GRACO GraCoil GC15LP Recoil Reduction System with LOP adjustment from approximately 14" to approximately 15", pad rotation, and tension adjust capabilities. Receiver and forearm iron bluing is good with the only thinning at the top lever where your thumb contacts it. Wood is good but with a few gun rack character markings (see photos).

Trigger is a Perazzi top first with an ALLEM release / pull. Trigger S/N does not match receiver.

Barrel is a high rib 34 inch (33.5) DB-81 barrel which has been back-bored and fit with Briley choke tubes. The bore is 0.749" and it comes with 4 choke tubes (0.034, 0.029, 0.019, and 0.014). Barrel has porting by ProPort. Bluing is good with contact marks where the barrel and forearm wood meet. Barrel has been professionally fit to the receiver by Philips Gunsmithing, and the top lever is to the right of center. Of course the barrel S/N does not match the receiver.

The combination of the back-bored barrel and the GRACO GraCoil recoil reduction system makes this a very low felt recoil trap gun.

Not sure why you felt it necessary to post the comments you made, and then bump them back to the top later. I expect your intent was to show a negative opinion of my asking price.

I would agree with you that a MX3 single barrel or TMX Special if they were "as new" would be a good buy at $2800. I would not consider my MX3 Special "as new". It's used, but in good shape with several attractive features an "as new" MX3 or TMX wouldn't have (DB-81 back-bored barrel, ProPort, Briley chokes, Allem release, 4-way comb, GraCoil, etc, etc.). When I do the math, it's my opinion, my gun is worth more than your inferred $2800 and my asking price is fair.

I must also assume that when you do the math you must at least partly agree since you have sent multiple PM's over the last couple of days trying to convince me to sell you the gun for $3400.

Anyway, I hope you find a gun you want at a price you want to pay.
