Get ready for this one folks!! Just finished final prep of the Blood Myrtlewood blanks and got 'em up in the drying racks. You'll see the dry sets sometime in 2013. I've had a bunch of requests from the "wet wood" guys who would like to put one of these beauties in their own drying rack, so here goes. This is a Blood Myrtle full rifle with very generous measurements and incredible figure and stripe. As the name suggests, the primary colors in the stripe are red, making this one of the rarest color variants in the Myrtlewood forest. There is a broad "shimmer" underlying all of the figure and very distinctive grain throughout. Very dense and a real treat to work, this one-of-a-kind Myrtlewood blank will easily host the biggest caliber rifle or the most complex two-piece application. It is wet and will require two or three years to be ready to work depending on the climatic conditions in your part of the world. If you truly want something different that will set you and your gun apart from the rest, this is it. Pictures:

This 26 foot long log produced only three rifle (one-piece) blanks. This is one of them and is priced at $475.00. When dry, this blank will command over $1000.00. First confirmation at the email address above will be the proud owner of this gem. Thank you for looking.
