I know this is a trap forum and I have a bats chance in heck of selling this here, but there might be a SXS junkie on TS.COM.

Up for sale is a F.lli RIZZINI model R1-E. The gun is a 12 gauge with 28” barrels choked .017 & .032. The serial # is 1892 and the gun was built in 1989. The gun is a Sidelock with Single Trigger, Splinter Forend. The stock features a straight grip and a 14 5/8 LOP to a checkered butt (1 ½ X 2 ¼ DOC). The stock is exhibition grade Turkish Walnut with a polished oil finish. The gun features a smooth Game Rib and Deluxe Ornamental Engraving by Master Engraver Patelli. The gun is 6lbs 10 oz and comes in makers case.

The gun is perfect no issues what so ever (wood, engraving, barrels) absolutely mint!!. I snapped the pics quickly and of course they don't do the gun justice, if there is any info or pics you need let me know. I am asking $55,000.

Hands down the finest shotguns made in the world. I sold a 20ga a couple of years ago. The workmanship is beyond belief. If you order one it will take at least a couple of years to get it. You don't see many for sale, if you have the $$ buy it.

I sold mine because I could never bring myself to shoot it, i was afraid of scratching it, dinging the stock etc. Made $ when I sold it.

That is some fine wood-to-metal fitting.

Looking at the reciever picture from the bottom, how would you ever get the stock off if you had to? Wood is fitted around trigger group.

It's a sidelock!No "trigger group" per se. Anyone trusted to work on this would certainly know how to take it apart. Not for amateur gunsmiths. Good luck on the 55k, 30"bbls and a pistol grip might get you there.

Aaah, EuroJoe thanks for that. I guess if they were able to get the stock on someway, has to be a way off too.
