It's snowing hard this afternoon in Prescott, AZ and reminds me of the weather I sometimes encountered while hunting in Colorado when I was a young airman stationed at Lowry AFB in Denver. I reminisced a bit and came across this account of one of my elk hunting experiences. I hope it evokes some of the same emotions in you that it does in me, even more than 50 years after it happened.
