Hi Dale, Took a little longer to get scheduled than I thought, but tomorrow, 6-30-21 is surgery at 3:00pm in Sioux Falls, SD.

I am ready to get this done and get on the road to recovery.

My brother and his wife will be taking care of me and my dog for the recovery.

Looking forward to getting back to work and attending some shoots in late 2021 or early 2022.

Thanks to all my shooting friends for the kind words, thoughts, and prayers.
Good luck Doug. Be nice to your caregivers lest you get a cold bed pan, form an experienced patient. 🙏🙏

Doug, these replacement surgeries aren’t fun but you’ll do fine and every day things get a little better. Hang in there. Looking forward to seeing you into e future.

Thanks for the reassurance that things will get better, Western.

The pain and swelling has really kicked into high gear the last 2 days.

I have been holding off on the pain pills but l'm going to have to start using them.

I will see the Doc again pn Tuesday.

Thanks to everyone.

I got released by the Doc and got back to Linn Creek late on Thirsday.

I will continue with physical therapy here at the lake.

The pain is about 10% of pre surgery, so very manageable with just Tylenol.

I am moving slow but I can take care of myself and the puppy. Just takes all day to do daylies. LOL.

Looking forward to getting back to the shoots and friends.

To all my ts.com friends,

Doug Hubbart Gunsmith and the Hubbart Case Company will be temporally closed so I can get a complete left shoulder replacement.

I will close about June 16th for approximately 15 weeks.

Please feel free to call or text me if I can be of service with advice.

Thank you Doug 573-286-9905.
WELL GOOD LUCK ON YOUR RECOVERY AND GET BETTER SOON.

Glad that your home and on the mend, I’m sure the pup was happy to see you. I’m curious about where you said Thirsty? Was that a typo or did the Doc say you could quench your thirst? 🤭
