The Win M42 uses all machined parts that are smaller versions of the M12. While the trigger assembly is part of the reciever. The parts come pretty close to be the same as a M12. The being the same goes right down to the lefthand threads on the lifter pivot and the same lifter spring as the M12.
The Browning 42 use a lot of stamping as parts. The lifter pivot screw is a big headed thing that also contains the lifter spring. Most problems I have seen with the Browning 42 are the stamped lifter and it's spring.
