Dave, I have an older MachOne which Dennis has installed a new-design rib. I have also had the DeVault folks build a new stock for the gun to fit me.

Pro's??? Theres a ton. These guns point great, shoot "without" felt re-coil, never break-down, made in the USA!!!

Con's??? Well, to be honest very few.

The MachOnes are a heavy gun, but I like that (could be listed in the "Pro's"). Controversy??? lock-time is the fastest in the industry, again, could be "Pro's/Con's. Shoot one for yourself and see what you think.

The new Infinity from DeVault's is lighter than the MachOnes were, and they have even LESS-felt re-coil. (hard to believe).

Are you thinking about giving one a try?

I've only had my Infinity for a couple of months but I like the design and feel of the gun. Fitting of all metal to metal and wood to metal is excellent. Looking at all of the parts of the gun you can't see anything that might be a weak spot. It looks like it will last several life times.
I am the second owner of the gun. One of the best advantages of the Devault gun is, at least from my experience, is the service. Whenever I've contacted Dennis with any questions he acts like I just bought the gun from him new yesterday. He wants the gun to fit me and shoot exactly where I need it to.
I wasn't hitting the birds as well as I thought I should be so I called Dennis the first part of last week. He hooked me up with Dean DeBow to work with me on fit and POI since Dean is located fairly close to me. Met with Dean last Thursday, he changed the rib, adjusted POI etc and we spent the afternoon fine tuning the gun to me along with some other helpful tips. By the end of the day I was completely satisfied with the way I was hitting the birds and the setup of the gun.

Bottom line; the gun is of outstanding quality, not heard of problem areas from other owners I've talked to, service is better than from any other manufacturer that I've dealt with (have had most all the other major manufacturers guns). I've had good luck with some other dealers of other brands of guns but not as good of service from the manufacturers themselves. So no dislikes of the gun or service so far.

Everything Dennis has ever done is first class.. I've owned 2 of his earlier guns..and both were excellent.. He is excellent.. His company is excellent..His service is excellent.. My problem was not the weight or balance of his guns.. as both fit me pretty good.. My right hand was crushed as a child.. and opening the gun was a problem for me..same for the Seitz.. I need a top lever opening gun... You'll need to look hard and far to find anyone who says any less about Dennis.. he's just a great guy who dearly loves the shooting sport.. All Good.. Mike
