Hello All- I'm looking to have a set of custom tinted Randolph Ranger lenses made. I want in effect a "light vermilion" color, somewhere between pale yellow and light purple in intensity if that makes any sense (darker than pale yellow, but lighter than light purple as far as light transmission). I love my std vermilion lenses for normal conditions, but want something that I can use in low light conditions thats the same color. My local guy wants $65 which seems a little high to me. Anyone know of another source that'll be a little cheaper?

Skeetman,

Send it over and I'll let my optician give it a shot. Polycarbonate lenses are hard to tint but we can try. No charge. He's very good at it..........Rich

Neil,

Seriously, we do it a lot. I agree with your thinking. Send me your e-mail and I'll send an article I wrote with Bender about light lenses. Would be happy to tint the lenses for you..........Rich
