MX3 variants do have a medium flat rib (a little higher than an MX8 bunker barrel) and are light. It is a sweet handling gun at a very modest price for a Perazzi.
Some famous trapshooter out of North Central Calif. still shoots one, what's his name, Dan Bonella or is it Benalla? I'm new to this sport, but heard that he liked the gun too and stuck with it.
I love the way the gun moves. I use OU for sporting and trap. You can never have too many MX3 specials. I have 3 combo's and a couple of extra sets of OU barrels. I have tried all the other Perazzi's and keep coming back to my MX3 special.
