My son and I shot these the other evening in Maryland. Both used 20 gauges-me a Beretta 303 and my son a Benelli M-2. Any other members crow hunt out there-we manage to kill 600-1000 per season.

I use to, long time back, used a 20 gauge , the two others used a 12 and 16.

I remember that it takes about two weeks before we could go back to the same place and shoot, they have a memory about that long from what I remember.

this was in the 70's when they had no restrictions on crows and you could hunt them anytime in MO. Squirrel hunt in the morning, crow hunt after that and hunt coyote and fox in the evening. Good old days,

I used to hunt them back in the 60's with my cousin.

You could get $.50 for a pair of crows feet from DNR. We turned them in at a local bait shop, and would go back about a week later for the money.

We took all the money in 20 ga. shells, and 22 bullets.

Wow! I would love to get money for their feet. Would have paid for a lot of shells over the years.

I use a 22-250. Not much left but feet and a beak. Love that big black cloud of feathers when you get a direct hit.
