I have a credit card (M C) on 3/19 ordered Trapshooting USA with it,the I D theft insurance co I carry called today 3/22 to report someone is using my card to purchase $4,792.00 they denide the charge so no problem for me, but this the FIRST time I ever used it on the internet be sure to look at the mo. statements

are you sure you're not being phished?

I have had numerous emails to the effect that my paypal account was charged with stuff, and attempts to trick my info out of me accompanied the folow up.

If you are online with the credit card, check the account or call the 800 number on the card to be sure the charges actually were attempted.

Above all give no information. NO passwords, no pin's nothing but account number and zip code.

the thieves get better all the time.

OK, you did the right thing. someone has your card info. cancel the card and have another one with a different number issued.

And don't give out any info unless the site is secure. You can tell by the URL having a letter "s" after the http.

The website you went on to, to order your TRAPSHOOTING USA magazine from, is a secured site, as they indicate on their online order subscription site. Somehow your info did get to someone, somehow. I just called same people and they said that this is a secured safe way to pay, online, like many other sites. I had a case years ago, in Chicago area, someone must have transposed my cc info and went into a Best Buy. The visa fraud dept. called me later same day. You have to be soooooo careful no matter where you go, or how you use a credit card. Nothing is sacred anymore. Sick world...........Rob
