I'm packing a Counter Coil to send to Danuser for a rebuild and was wondering if this might be a do it yourself project. Anybody ever try this?

When I had one rebuilt after a blow-out, it was VERY cheap to have the factory do it. I doubt you could buy the materials for less than what the factory charged for the whole job.

They charge $60 for the rebuilld and eight bucks return shipping. I'm definitely going to have them rebuild it.

I think they only charged me about $20, but then again that was almost a decade ago now.
