Shooting starts at 9. As Hatchet said, get there early.. It's become a very popular shoot, especially with no competition this weekend, and great weather predicted. Regesteted Singles, Handicap & Doubles.
Had good memories of the Corn shoot in MD. The last time I shot it, it was in Tuscarora, MD. My team mate that day was the late great one eyed shooter Don Ewing.
The reason it was so memorable all these years was because at the last target Don was down 1 target and I was straight. Don hit the last one for a 99, I chipped the last one for the lone 100. Don turned around to the puller/score keeper and said ''lost target, if he can't hit it any harder then that, he don't deserve it''. He was just kidding.
Wish I could be there at Mt Airy, that place was such friendly place to shoot.
