Do you change to 7 1/2 - 1 1/8 in cold weather? {30 or less degrees.} or stick with 1 1/8 # 8s. just wondering. Butch H

I'm shooting 8s in 0F weather and they are working just fine for me. However, I shoot short yardage (21.5 yards) handicap. Long yardage may make a difference. I did shoot 8.5s once in 0F cold and stiff winds ... missed 7 of my first 10 targets. Fortunately, the trap machine broke and while it got fixed I went and got my regular loads (7.5s) and ran the rest of the 50 target race (25 singles and 25 caps) to tie for high gun for the day. BTW, that gun loved 8.5s in warm weather. Bill Malcolm
