Just follow the Hodgdon reloading manual. They are all good loads.

I prefer the STS hull, Win 209 primer, 17.5 gr of Clays, Rem fig 8 wad and 1 1/8th oz of 8's.

Handicap load is STS hull (gold to tell the difference) Win 209 primer, 23.1 gr of Universal and 1 1/8th oz of 8's

What are the numbers with the 17.5 gr, i.e., fps, pressure?

Switched to Claydot when Clays went missing. Have no intention of switching back.

Ps: Clays (Powder) "is" back. Clays "are" back would refer to missing White Flyers.
Sorry, can't help myself.

I tried Clay Dot when Clays vanished. Didn't like it at all. Ended up switching to Promo.
Now that Clays is back, might have to rethink the move. It's a difficult choice when you
consider the cost difference. $122.00 vs $92.00 hmmmmmmmm.
