Anyone use these? I assume that it is the 1 oz version of the windjammer. Used in a STS or AA hull. Any thoughts or experience with them?

They are a VERY tall wad that works well with 7/8 and 3/4 oz loads. I have had best luck with them in compression formed hulls.

They don't go in a press like some other wads, but are priced right and give good results.

Is Federal straight wall?? And STS is Tapered? Says it suppose to fit both. How can that be?

I am using 4100-12-B with AA hulls and 17.8 grains of Accurite Nitro 100. I am loading these with 7/8 oz shot. Pushing around 1300 fps. They work fine, crimp well and load easy in my PW 800.

Thank you also Jon. I am looking at 17.3 grains of SOLO 1000 with this wad with 1oz of shot. But i might just try the 7/8 oz.

This is my wad of choice for 16 yd, 1st shot of doubles, skeet, and all "close" shooting. 7/8oz of 8 1/2s or 9s, pushed by 16.5gr Nitro100 or 17.5gr E3 in A-A hulls definitely gets the job done. Tough to beat !
